Everything You Wanted to Know About FIGMA TO ELEMENTOR and Were Too Embarrassed to Ask

2 minutes read

Figma and Elementor are two different tools that serve different purposes. Figma is a design tool that allows designers to create user interfaces, web designs, and graphics. Elementor, on the other hand, is a page builder for WordPress that enables users to create and customize websites without having to write code.

That being said, there are ways to use designs from software in Elementor. Here’s how:

  1. Export your Figma project as an image or SVG file. To do this, select the element or page you want to export, click “Export” in the top right corner of the screen, and choose the format you want to export as.
  2. Import the exported image or SVG file into website’s constructor. To do this, create a new Elementor page, add an “Image” widget, and upload the exported file.
  3. Use the image as a reference to recreate the design in Elementor. While this method may take more time, it ensures that your project is optimized for web and is easily customizable within Elementor.

Alternatively, you can also use a third-party plugin like Figma to Elementor, which allows you to import Figma designs directly into Elementor. Here’s how:

  1. Install the Figma to Elementor plugin in your WordPress site.
  2. Connect your Figma account to the plugin and authorize it to access your designs.
  3. Import the desired Figma design into Elementor using the plugin.
  4. Customize the design as needed using Elementor’s drag-and-drop interface.

Keep in mind that while this plugin can save you time, it may not always produce perfect results. You may need to adjust the design elements or make changes to ensure they display correctly on the web.
